Attributes and Characteristics of Leadership

Network Marketing leaders, and leaders in general, possess certain attributes and characteristics. These are the things that allow them to be successful.

Here are the attributes that are essential to successful leadership:

1. Your Philosophy – This is the main ingredient of a leader’s emotional state. It’s not all about you. It’s bigger than you.

2. Your Competence – You know what you’re doing.

3. Your Image – How you show up matters and you show up on purpose.

4. Your Vision – You have a big vision and you can communicate that vision.

5. Your Game Plan – You have a strategy.

6. Your Intensity – You have passion. You have IT!

7. You Are Unreasonable – This is the most valuable attribute of a leader. You demand the world conforms to you. You have outrageous standards and are not “normal.”

8. Your Awareness – You know your strengths, weaknesses, and what’s going on within your team at ALL TIMES.

9. Your Ability to Communicate – You let people know about the attributes of a leader either loudly or softly and – through your ability to communicate – you drive people to take action.

These are the 5 characteristics of a leader in Network Marketing:

1. Independent (not needy) 

2. Problem Solver (resourceful) 

3. Consistent (dependable) 

4. Have a Big Vision & the Ability to Communicate That Vision 

5. Creates Action & Results 

So how can YOU become a leader? In a recent poll of $1 million-a-year earners, it was discovered that each have only about 25 people on their entire team who have all 5 characteristics. 

This means you need to:

• Become a leader with all 5 characteristics
• Learn how to identify people that have the potential to be mentored into this type of leader
• Mentor and develop them into this type of leader

If you can identify just 25 people on your team with all 5 characteristics of a leader, the chances of you becoming a 7-figure earner go up dramatically.Just because you may not currently have all the attributes and characteristics of a Network Marketing leader, that doesn’t mean that you can’t be successful.
