Stop Bothering Your Network Marketing Prospects

    Published on:

A common emotion for Network Marketing Professionals, especially those that are new to the profession, is they feel like they’re bothering people. If this is something you worry about, don’t! Here are some ways to resolve this issue…

    1. Focus on the prospect and their needs, not your needs.

Don’t focus on you and your need to prospect and recruit. Instead, focus on the value you are bringing to your prospect. If it’s all about you and your need to recruit or sell, your prospects will be able to feel it and they won’t be responsive. Make it about them and their needs.

    2. Get behind your product/service, and understand it’s a gift.

If you are worried about bothering people, it probably means that you have a limiting belief about your product or service. If you truly believe that your product or service will help people, then you won’t be bothering anyone. You are educating someone that doesn’t know that you have a solution to meet their needs. So, understand that your product or service is a gift, and it’s your mission to help fulfill a need.

    3. Truly believe that Network Marketing is a better way.

If you’re worried that you’re bothering people with your opportunity, then you don’t truly believe that Network Marketing is the best option for entrepreneurial-minded people. Remind yourself of the value of the Network Marketing Profession. Do that, and you won’t be bothering them, but presenting them with an opportunity.

Most people view prospecting as an opportunity for them. They think, “I’m going to go prospect because it’s an opportunity for me to build my team.” But your goal shouldn’t be to gain something for yourself. It should be to educate your prospects about an opportunity that has the potential to give them a better life. Once you are confident about that, you won’t feel like you’re bothering people anymore.

So, forget about your needs and concentrate on your prospects’ needs. They will feel your confidence in, and compassion and excitement for the Network Marketing Profession.

    Remember, it’s not about you!
