7 Skills You Should Help Your Team Develop In Network Marketing

    Published on:

Some people think that there is some big secret to success in the Network Marketing Profession. The truth is, there’s no secret. It’s not about hope, and it’s not about hype. It’s about the best trained-team. The best-trained team wins. Period.

Ultimately, you’ve got to be competent and you have to train your team to be competent and eventually, independent. This is what will lead to duplication.

So how do you accomplish this? First, create a list of the fundamental skills that everyone in your organization needs to be trained in. I’ll help you. Those skills are…

    1. Finding Prospects
    2. Inviting Prospects
    3. Presenting
    4. Following Up
    5. Closing
    6. Getting People Started
    7. Promoting Events

Let me give you an example. I had a friend who was struggling with duplication. She lived in Memphis, Tennessee and was building an organization. She was doing weekly opportunity presentations and trainings and she was exceptional at doing them. However, nobody else in her organization could hold these events. If she didn’t do them, nobody would show up. She had no life, no duplication and no freedom.

So we took a look at her organization and we found that she hadn’t developed her team’s presentation skills. They were all dependent on her like little baby birds in the nest with their mouths open and mama bird dropping food into their mouths. This was why she had no life, no duplication and no freedom.

So we came up with a process. First she took inventory and figured out who on her team was willing to become a world-class presenter. Then she created a presentation training program and taught those people how to do a great presentation.

At the end of this process she had people that she could trust to do presentations. And what do you think happened to her life, duplication and freedom? It all skyrocketed. Her team received recognition through incentives, trophies and certificates, and she went on to become a multi-million dollar a year earner, when she had been stuck just a year prior.

So look at your organization and see what’s missing. If they’re terrible at presenting, promoting events, closing, following up or whatever it happens to be, develop those skills. The payoff will be huge.
