3 STRATEGIES THAT CREATE DUPLICATION WITHIN YOUR BUSINESS

The business world today is kind of crazy.  People are looking to dismantle, restructure, and phase out.  It seems like every business I go into there is a manager that barks orders all day from behind a desk.  It seems that most businesses have lost the ability to inspire their teams.  It seems that most businesses leaders have lost the ability to work as a group.

If you gathered a group of business strategist right now and asked them what the best way to build a team would be I am sure at least one of them would tell you to separate yourself from the rest and create a unique proposition that makes your company seem unique.

I SAY “ENOUGH WITH ALL THAT!”

While there may be a time and place for disruptive technology.  While there may be a time and place for a harsh dictator, it is not needed in a Network Marketing team.

I have a 3 strategy plan that will make every team better.

    1. FOCUS ON THE VALUE EACH MEMBER BRINGS.
    2. DON’T FORGET TO BE GRATEFUL.
    3. NEVER IGNORE A PERSON THAT GOES OUT OF THEIR WAY TO IMPROVE YOUR BUSINESS.

    FOCUS ON THE VALUE

Each and every member of your team has valuable skills.  Some of them are good with computers, some of them are good with people, some of them are good at showing the rest of the team what not to do, but each and every one of them has value.

Once a month, I like to sit down with a two column list of all my team members.  In one column it has their name and the other column is blank.  I go down the list are write down what their most valuable skill.  Every once in a while I will not know what it is.  In this case, I know that I don’t know what the person does on an everyday basis.  Once I get to know what they do, I will know where their value is.

    DON’T FORGET TO BE GRATEFUL

Have you ever noticed how rude some people can come across in a text or how entitled someone can seem in an email?  Why do you think that is?

I think the reason is that they are not looking you in the eye.  They don’t care about how you will perceive the message because you are not there.

One of the best technology driven team building exercises I have seen is Facebook Messenger.  This platform allows you to send audio messages to each of your team members.  It goes hand in hand with the value list.  Imagine this for a second:

I make my list of team members and their associated value.  I take the time to record a thank you on Facebook messenger.  “Liz, I wanted to thank you for all the effort you put in.  I know that you have a bunch on your plate and you are easily defined as overworked, but you come in day after day and do all that you can for the team.  I really appreciate it.”

Can you imagine the benefits a system like that would have on your team?

NEVER IGNORE A PERSON THAT GOES OUT OF THEIR WAY TO IMPROVE YOUR BUSINESS

Relying on the same people day in and day out can be a slippery slope.  As business owners, we have a million distractions that come at us every day that lead us down a rabbit hole.  We end up focusing on everything that went wrong that day and how we are going to fix it.

All these distractions have one dire consequence.  We end up ignoring the people that are doing everything they can to improve our business.

You know the type, the ones that show up early, the ones that solve problems, the once that are emotionally invested.  Those are the people that keep your business running.

Take a moment and figure out who those people are on your team.  Appreciate them and DO NOT forget about them or take them for granted.
